Finance Business Partner We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Kier Transportation team based in the Greater Manchester area and assist on a number of exciting rail related projects. As Finance Business Partner, you'll be working within the Kier Transportation Rail team, reporting to the Finance Director & dotted line to Senior Finance Business Partner. An important part of the role will be building a strong network around the projects so that you are the go-to person for the Rail Operations & Enhancements business unit. Your day to day will include: Manage a team, coach, and develop other team members (finance and non-finance) Produce monthly management accounts for the projects, adhering to deadlines. Lead project quarterly forecasting process Provide insightful reporting to management to allow decisions to be made and areas of concern to be identified. Correctly deal with accrued income, deferred income and interpret cumulative monthly applications. Support the commercial and operational teams to ensure a true position is understood for monthly Cost Valuation Reviews (CVRs) What are we looking for? Qualified Accountant CIMA, ACCA, ACA, FCA or equivalent Successful experience in dealing with accrued income and deferred income. Experience of monthly management reporting and statutory audits Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly excel.
