Following the appointment of Andrew Morgan as our Chair in Common, we are now seeking to appoint our first Chief Executive in Common to lead both organisations as we seek to transform local care together with our communities. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our health services as, we deliver our Hospital Transformation Programme; a fully approved £312m project that is allowing us to reconfigure our services and develop state of the art facilities. This is a challenging role; our health economy has faced significant financial challenge and loss of public confidence given historic failings in some of our services. We are seeking an inspirational Chief Executive; proven in leading large and complex organisations and with a track record of creating inclusive and empowering cultures. As our new leader you will be comfortable with high levels of national political scrutiny and public accountability; you will thrive as a system leader; quickly building trust and confidence with our boards, staff, patients and partners – creating a clear vision and hope for the future.
