OTE GBP £42,000.00/Yr. Overview: Business Development Manager - Automotive Parts. £32,000 Per Annum Basic with Bonus opportunity of £10,000 per annum plus Company Car. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm, open to discussion.

Here at Charles Hurst, we are seeking an ambitious and talented Trade Parts Business Development Manager to join our successful team in Belfast. We want someone passionate about the automotive industry with extensive knowledge of parts, whether Franchise or After-market. With direct purchase accounts with over ten Franchise marques plus an established After-market range, we offer a unique opportunity to extend to our customer base.
The Parts Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and growing trade parts sales within the Trade Hub area, operating from our Trade Parts Hub. Responsibilities include identifying new and existing customers with growth potential from independent garages, body shops, and fleet sectors; building and maintaining strong relationships; and increasing parts sales through expanding parts ranges purchased.
Key abilities required:
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
* Work within sales strategy to increase revenues from higher segmented customer accounts
* Support the Trade Hub team to ensure excellent customer service
* Maintain accurate customer records
* Collaborate with Parts Sales and Accessory Manager and Transport Manager to focus on high-potential areas
* Develop strong relationships with Tele-Sales team to achieve sales targets
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar automotive environment with a proven track record in trade parts sales, be IT literate (Excel, Word, CDK/Kerridge preferred), and experienced in monitoring financial performance against budgets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential.
