Community Mental Health Team Lead. Fixed Term or Secondment opportunity.
As Service Manager I am delighted to be able to offer a 9-12 month secondment / fixed term contract for Team Lead within Inverness Community Mental Health.
Inverness CMHT covers a geographical area of Inverness City, Balloch, Culloden and Smithton, as well as reaching out to Foyers and Drumnadrochit area. It is a stunning area to live and work in, affording opportunities to enjoy a vibrant city life with the sea / lochs and mountains on your doorstep.
Inverness CMHT is a dynamic team that provides Mental Health care and treatment for the adult population who are experiencing moderate to severe mental illness / disorder. We have an excellent multidisciplinary team who are committed to providing high quality, evidenced based care. (from 1-1 specific treatment to group work, face to face and online)
The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate significant experience within Adult Mental health preferably both in-patients and community. Should have a sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act (Scotland) Adults with Incapacity and Child protection.
You will have excellent communication skills in order to deal effectively with complex / distressing situations sometimes involving multiple services.
As this post is Team Lead you will have clear knowledge, understanding and evidence of working in a leadership role.
