Our client, a family of five with a 6 bedroom property in Windsor, is seeking a highly efficient and proactive live-out Housekeeper/PA to start in July 2024. This temporary position of 3 months which has the opportunity to turn into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Along with all housekeeping duties required, the family would like someone who is comfortable to take on household administrative duties, for example booking in and dealing with contractors, handling bills and insurances, and maintaining inventories etc. General pet care is also a very important part of this role, looking after their miniature dachshund with great care throughout the day, arranging vet/grooming appointments as necessary.
The ideal candidate must be child-friendly as there are 3 young children (5, 3, and newborn) within the residence. There is a full-time Nanny employed, so you would be expected to work collaboratively with her, assisting each other where needed. Occasional ad-hoc childminding will be required.
There will be a 1-2 week handover period with the Housekeeper who is currently at the residence.
Duties to include:
1. All aspects of housekeeping to a very high standard: cleaning, tidying, dusting, hoovering, changing bed linens, deep cleaning when the family is away
2. Laundry and ironing
3. Dog care – feeding, booking vet appointments, optional dog sitting when the family are away (either in your own home or at the client’s residence) or alternatively arranging, dropping off, and collecting him from the sitter
4. Occasional cooking (such as cutting veg to be prepared later by the family, and simple lunches)
5. Booking and managing contractors
6. Running errands as required – dry cleaning, shopping, taking things to post office
7. Handling all post and deliveries to the property
8. Weekly online grocery shopping
9. Household admin such as car and home insurance, booking MOTs/car maintenance, paying invoices for contractors etc
10. Assisting with planning dinner parties and household events
11. Cleaning family cars, filling with petrol, and taking them for servicing and to the garage when necessary
12. Wardrobe management, packing and unpacking of suitcases
13. Assisting with booking travel and drop off and collection from the airport
Candidate Requirements:
14. Highly organised with a willing and adaptable attitude
15. Incredibly tidy with a meticulous eye for detail
16. Previous experience within a role of this nature
17. A confident, experienced driver with their own car, living within a commutable distance from Windsor
18. Previous PA/admin experience a bonus
19. Confident working with dogs and children, with previous experience of pet care being a bonus
20. An up-to-date DBS

Working hours : 7.30am-4.00pm
