They are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding Glasgow team. Your new role
As a graduate electrical engineer, you will help your team ensure the sustainability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems across various building types. You will be responsible for contributing to electrical design across a range of client projects, working closely with the electrical team. Your duties will include design and delivery of electrical design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Designing building electrical systems within a consultancy environment
* Producing detailed design calculations for all aspects of electrical design
* Preparing specifications
* Creating design notes and reports
* Developing design drawings from conception through to detailed design
* Playing an active role in every stage of projects from feasibility to completion across multiple sectors
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an accredited Building Services / Electrical Engineering degree or higher educational qualification.
You should be working towards chartership.
A willingness and passion to deliver electrical building services engineering designs across various sectors.
Experience conducting all stages of electrical design from concept to completion, with supervision from senior engineers.
Working knowledge of digital tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech/Trimble, MS Office, etc.
Basic understanding of technical and legislative requirements for electrical services.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude.
