Description and requirements

You will be working in the Building Operating Unit where we are responsible for the construction and mechanical and electrical engineering services for the commercial office development, Botanic Place in Cambridge.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to lead the safe, high-quality delivery of internal works packages from design coordination to installation, commissioning and handover. Ensure programme certainty, commercial performance and client satisfaction, while embodying Skanska’s values.
As the Project Manager, you will:
1. Set and maintain exemplary standards for health, safety and wellbeing, promoting a culture where unsafe conditions are challenged and addressed
2. Ensure internal works are planned and delivered in line with site rules, statutory requirements, and Skanska governance controls
3. Own delivery of internals and finishes packages, including washrooms, partitions & ceilings, doorsets & joinery, and floor & wall finishes
4. Ensure quality-first installations using mock-ups, benchmarks, sample sign-offs, hold points and progressive inspections
5. Manage the internal delivery programme, ensuring a buildable sequence that integrates MEP first/second fix with finishes, through lookaheads, constraint management and recovery actions
We are looking for:
6. Proven experience delivering internals and finishes on medium-to-large buildings, including washrooms and CAT A and commercial fit-outs
7. Strong track record coordinating multiple trades and interfaces, integrating MEP with finishes and managing logistical sequencing
8. Skilled in managing packages through design, procurement, installation and handover
