Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively. As a Project Engineer, you’ll coordinate on-site construction engineering functions and provide technical support to ensure successful delivery. You’ll monitor progress, interpret designs, and manage subcontractors and direct reports, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Your role is critical in turning plans into reality, helping deliver infrastructure that supports 143,000 new homes and 466,000 jobs in Western Sydney. About the role: Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities on site Monitor progress against program and report to the Project Manager Interpret designs and recommend improvements for ease of construction Manage subcontractors, direct reports, and site supervisors Track costs, productivity, and prepare forecasts and reports The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects for State authorities Strong knowledge of WHS, environmental legislation, and quality procedures Ability to produce SWMS, ITPs, and manage budgets and forecasts Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management systems Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
