Carlisle Support Services is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Area Supervisor to join our team of dedicated staff committed to delivering exceptional services to our customers. The role involves following HSQE and rail critical safety protocols, with comprehensive training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Rostering and staff allocation.
2. Managing staff performance according to company policies.
3. Ensuring all staff are trained for their roles, including station cleaning tasks such as washroom cleaning, litter picking, waste removal, guano removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing consumables, glazing, and operating scrubber dryers and rotary machines.
4. Maintaining training matrices and acting on training needs.
5. Collaborating with the central/Assistant Contract Manager to advertise and fill vacancies.
6. Completing station audits using provided tools, reporting failures, and rectifying faults within KPIs.
7. Monitoring station cleaning to meet client requests and compliance with daily checks, including SQR, unmanned building, water, bike maintenance, and rural cleans.
8. Maintaining fleet and equipment, working proactively with clients to meet outcomes, and implementing preventative measures to address complaints.

* Holds PTS (Personal Track Safety).
* Possesses a full UK driving license (desirable).
* Can solve problems and handle ad hoc challenges.
* Works well independently.
Location coverage includes Bishops Stortford, Harlow Town, Cambridge, and others. Core hours are Monday to Friday, with two evenings per period and one weekend shift as required. Successful candidates will need to provide original documentation for screening, including passport, driving license, recent utility bill, HMRC letter, bank statement, payslip, birth certificate, or share code.
