Job Title: Hydraulic Sales Engineer

Location: North West England (Field Based)

I am are seeking an experienced and motivated Hydraulic Sales Engineer to join a growing team covering the North West region. This role is ideal for someone with strong hydraulic knowledge who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer engagement and business development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting existing customers while identifying new opportunities for growth across a range of industrial sectors. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering and operational teams to deliver practical hydraulic solutions that improve performance, reliability, and efficiency for customers.


Responsibilities

* Develop and manage customer relationships across the North West, providing technical guidance and promoting hydraulic products, services, and system solutions.
* Identify customer needs and deliver tailored hydraulic solutions with a blend of technical understanding and commercial awareness.
* Actively seek new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to quotation, proposal development, and project support.
* Support customers with hydraulic asset management initiatives, helping them track equipment, plan maintenance, and improve lifespan and performance of hydraulic systems.
* Support service engineers with on-site hose surveys and system inspections, identifying potential improvements or maintenance requirements and presenting clear recommendations to customers.


What I am Looking For

* Experience working with hydraulic systems, components, or fluid power equipment
* Background in technical sales, engineering, or industrial service environments
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to understand customer requirements and deliver practical technical solutions
* Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects
* Commercial awareness and the ability to identify sales opportunities
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West region
