Job Description Summary

Today, we have wind turbines operating on three continents: America, Europe, and Asia, including the world’s first 13 MW most powerful offshore wind turbine.
We are building the largest Wind Farm in the world, launching 250+ Wind Turbines on the North East Coast - Doggerbank.
This role is responsible for coordinating planned and corrective Offshore Wind Service activities, providing team leadership, and ensuring high performance in meeting SQDC targets in collaboration with our customers. Working in a team of two, the Service Leads will oversee task readiness, including parts/tools preparation, personnel deployment, and progress reporting.
Your primary location will be offshore, on rotation from Port of Tyne.
Responsibilities
* Ensure safe turbine maintenance operations with high quality standards, delivered within budget and schedule, while tracking KPIs and reporting progress and deviations.
* Manage Emergency Response Plans in accordance with local, site, and GE policies with stakeholder support.
* Lead operational teams on service operation vessels, being fully responsible for service activities execution.
* Coordinate safe onboarding/offboarding of technicians and equipment with operational vessels and work parties.
* Act as the point of contact for customer representatives on daily matters and prepare monthly reports.
* Coordinate administrative activities, including tracking site activities, technician levels, service schedules, requisitions, and documentation.
* Prepare tooling, material, and equipment for daily deployment, managing issues and returns.
* Lead the Production-Based Availability Operational plan to optimize synergies and ensure high production levels.
* Foster a culture of continual improvement, retaining and enhancing knowledge, and providing feedback to stakeholders.
* Support recruitment and talent development for operational roles.
* Monitor and report on production-based availability metrics, ensuring transparency and alignment with the customer.
* Support development of systems, processes, competency frameworks, and Safe System of Work governance.
* Contribute to the continual improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.
Travel Expectations
* Primarily offshore work on the Dogger Bank project.
* International travel required.
* Work from Port of Tyne O&M base or other GE sites as needed.
Education / Professional Experience
* Extensive experience coordinating workloads and working parties.
* Ability to work offshore at wind farm sites.
* Offshore wind maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
* Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment, with remote teams, enabling change and completing tasks.
Language
* Fluency in English.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
* Experience in offshore wind or related disciplines.
* High motivation, leadership, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to analyze and resolve problems systematically.
* Project management skills and experience leading technician teams.
