Perinatal Community MH Practitioner/Systemic Family Practitioner
Hybrid role: Perinatal Community Mental Health Practitioner and Systemic Family Practitioner
Location: North Lancashire & South Cumbria. Hours: 1 x 37.5 hours. Band 7. Main Base - East Barn, Lancaster (with travel across North Lancashire and South Cumbria).
Responsibilities
* Carry out specialist assessments of women referred into the perinatal service.
* Be responsible for an allocated caseload where you will offer therapeutic and/or generic support, depending on a family’s needs.
* Act as Lead Professional (care-co-ordination) and deliver therapeutic roles as part of this varied hybrid role.
* Work with senior clinicians within the team and access peer support from colleagues delivering this hybrid systemic role in other SPCMHTs.
Qualifications and experience
* Core profession with additional systemic therapy training.
* Experience in Lead Professional (care-co-ordination) and therapeutic roles in perinatal services.
