Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for caring for older adults with cognitive impairment. This role requires a person who can work without direct supervision, uses their own initiative, has previous care experience, reliable IT, written and verbal communication skills, and who is creative, practical, works well within a team, and is confident.
We expect you to be willing to learn and develop your skills, prioritise your workload, and contribute new ideas to improve the care and experience of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
The Enhanced Care Support Worker supports the multidisciplinary team on the wards, providing 24‑hour, 1‑to‑1 care for people with cognitive impairment who may be physically or mentally unwell, distressed, and/or at risk of harm to themselves or others. Each patient's needs will be considered on an individual basis. You will be ward‑based and may be asked to move areas to support staff as needed.

Training & Development
Training will be provided in specialised skills including:
* Social engagement
* Enhanced conflict resolution techniques
These skills enable patients to experience individualised, person‑centred dementia care.
Shift Patterns
* Nights
* Long days
* Earlies
* Lates
These posts require some weekend and bank holiday working as part of the ward rotas.
