We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation of sites, including clearing debris
* Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment as required on-site
* Assisting tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, and masons with their tasks
* Mixing and handling materials such as cement, mortar, or concrete under supervision
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
* Following all health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
* Operating basic tools and machinery as instructed by supervisors
* Supporting the team in completing construction tasks within designated timeframes
Requirements
* 2 year's experience in construction, experience in assisting tradespeople
* Knowledge of site safety rules
* Ability to handle basic tools
* Understanding of manual handling
* First aid or health & safety awareness is a plus.
* Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks for extended periods
* Must speak English to a good degree
* Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
* A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel between sites is essential
