Location: Cardiff (CF5)
Pay:£110 - £120 per day (PAYE, weekly pay)
Schedule / Hours: Monday – Friday, Part-time, ad hoc (08:30–15:30) – ideal for university schedules

About the Role
As a Behaviour & Learning Mentor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with:
* Emotional wellbeing
* Behaviour and self‑regulation
* Academic engagement and confidence
You’ll work closely with teachers, the SENCo, and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support that helps students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
* Assist with behaviour and learning support plans
* Encourage resilience, focus, and emotional regulation
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Collaborate with staff and parents to support student progress

What We’re Looking For
* Currently studying (or working towards) a degree in Psychology or a related field
* A genuine passion for mental health, education, and child development
* Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability
* Experience with young people is desirable, but not essential (full training provided)
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* Two recent professional references (Study or employment)
* Up-to-date CV
* Safeguarding training (we provide this)
