About the Role
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment. You’ll assist with classroom activities, provide small group or one-to-one support, and help pupils develop confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and learning activities.
Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce understanding and encourage participation.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, and break times.
Provide feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and behaviour.Requirements
Experience working with children (in a school or informal setting).
A genuine passion for education and child development.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, reliable, and positive attitude.
Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. (Not Mandatory)
