Your new role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the technical and design coordination aspects of projects during the pre-construction phase. While prior pre-construction experience is not essential, this position is ideal for someone with a background in electrical contracts management who is looking to expand into a more strategic and design-focused role.
This is a primarily office-based position with minimal travel, offering a stable routine and improved work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with themercial team to ensure financial accuracy in final bid submissions
2. Work with design partners to developpliant andpetitive designs
3. Coordinate electrical design elements to ensure integration and efficiency
4. Attend meetings with main contractors and clients, leadingmunication with design teams and specialist supply chain partners
5. Review all drawings, schedules, and technical submittals prior to client submission forments or approvals
6. Support contracts managers and procurement teams to ensure all purchases meet specification and drawing requirements
7. Liaise with specialist subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bid submissions are fullypliant
What you'll need to succeed
8. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical contracts management or a similar technical role
9. Strong understanding of electrical installations and current regulations
10. Excellent time management and organisational skills
11. Strong interpersonal andmunication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues
12. Leadership and motivational abilities
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
