We are looking for an exceptionally talented, bright, and driven individual to join our Human Resources team as a Senior HR Business Partner. The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as an advisor to Senior Operations leaders, leveraging their strong HR experience and expertise. You will develop and execute business strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. As a natural culture steward, you will partner with internal stakeholders to embed Amazon's unique culture into the employee experience. Additionally, you will establish standard processes and policies, support organizational change through effective Change Management, and be a key member of the Senior Regional HR leadership team, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage time effectively to oversee a small cluster of Amazon Logistics sites geographically located in the South West of England, partnering with the Senior Operations leader.
2. Drive Associate engagement programs, act as an Employee Relations Subject Matter Expert, monitor Associate feedback, and implement strategies to enhance employee relations, retention, and rewards.
3. Manage labor relations and handle complex cases in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legislative changes in HR policies and practices.
4. Create people-centric plans aligned with business demands, understanding how talent contributes to business strategy and development.
5. Coordinate with management to recruit middle and senior management, facilitate onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
6. Lead talent review processes and succession planning in partnership with management.
7. Analyze data to improve HR processes, employee engagement, and policy alignment across the organization.
8. Manage and lead complex HR projects and change initiatives, including the deployment of new tools and technologies to better support stakeholders.
9. Manage a small team, multiplying talent and becoming a Subject Matter Expert in your business line.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* A Bachelor's degree in an HR-related field or equivalent experience.
* Experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of current HR practices, trends, and tools.
* Proficiency with MS Office and HR Information Systems.
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to utilize analytical and experiential data for decision-making.
* Influencing skills.
