JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor

Salary:
£20 - £25 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide individualised support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create and implement tailored learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
* Assist students in developing academic and social skills
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Education:
Relevant educational background in Special Education or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN principles and best practises
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
* Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing appropriate support strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional certifications in Special Education or related field
* Experience working with a diverse range of SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
* Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
