£27,785 - £43,325 per annum, plus £610 Crawley Weighting Allowance

Responsibilities
We are seeking a committed and inspiring English GCSE Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to 16-18-year-old learners on full-time study programmes. The postholder will plan, deliver, and assess GCSE English lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements, supporting learners to progress and achieve their English qualification. You will create engaging, inclusive learning experiences, track and report on learner progress, and contribute to curriculum planning and quality assurance activities. The role involves working collaboratively within the English team to support learner attendance, retention and achievement, while ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have strong subject knowledge in English, experience of teaching GCSE within an FE or secondary setting (or the ability to adapt quickly to FE delivery), and hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
