<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager role focused on developing new business opportunities and managing accounts in the Northeast region (Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Darlington, Teesside, York, Hull, Doncaster) for a leading global engineering manufacturer. The successful candidate will be driven and enthusiastic about sales with a willingness to learn new engineering products, and will have exposure to technical engineering products such as instrumentation, control, valves, actuators, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related flow‑control products. Full product training will be provided.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop new business opportunities and manage accounts throughout the Northeast region.</li><li>Maintain and grow sales of instrumentation and flow‑control products through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to achieve targets.</li><li>Work remotely and attend field visits to customer sites in Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Darlington, Teesside, York, Hull, and Doncaster.</li><li>Liaise with various engineering departments to support sales activities.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Desire to grow within a reputable global manufacturer.</li><li>Driven and enthusiastic about sales with willingness to learn new engineering products.</li><li>Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Executive or similar role.</li><li>Some exposure to selling technical engineering products.</li><li>Full product training provided; knowledge of instrumentation, valves, and control products (actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals) is beneficial.</li><li>Full clean driving license.</li></ul><h3>Compensation & Benefits</h3><ul><li>£45,000 – £53,000 base salary depending on experience.</li><li>Bonus.</li><li>Company car.</li><li>24 days holiday plus bank holidays.</li><li>Pension.</li><li>Phone and laptop.</li><li>Additional benefits.</li></ul></div>
