Trainee Accountant

We are working with a well‑established business in Stonehouse that is looking to appoint a Trainee Accountant to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around one year of experience in a finance role who is keen to progress their career and gain exposure to systems support alongside core accounting duties.
As Trainee Accountant you will assist with day‑to‑day finance operations including preparing financial records supporting month‑end processes and maintaining compliance standards. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting IT‑related projects within the finance function, making this an ideal role for someone with an interest in systems and technology.
The Ideal Candidate
* AAT studier or recent AAT graduate
* Approximately one year of experience in a finance or accounting role
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Interest in IT and willingness to support system improvements
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
