We're recruiting on behalf of a large public sector organisation in their search for a Change Manager. An exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful transformation within a respected public sector setting, leading strategic change initiatives that drive operational improvement and service excellence. The role: Lead Strategic Change Delivery Develop and implement a business change management plan aligned with programme objectives, defining and communicating the desired future state. Assess and Build Change Readiness Analyse current change maturity, assess impact, and deliver readiness activities including stakeholder engagement, training, and change reinforcement. Coordinate Across Workstreams Collaborate with programme teams and subject matter experts to align policies, procedures, and operational plans that support effective transformation. Ensure Governance and Risk Management Set up controls for tracking progress, manage change-related risks, and ensure compliance with governance frameworks and statutory duties. Communicate and Engage Effectively Lead stakeholder communications, address concerns, and work closely with staff, users, and representative bodies to build engagement and trust. Lead and Support People Development Manage staff performance, promote a culture of empowerment and inclusion, and support continuous learning and team morale. Promote Professionalism and Responsibility Uphold ethical standards, support environmental and legal obligations, and foster transparency, accountability, and good record-keeping. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Relevant professional qualification and experience in a business change role at management level. Experience in developing and delivering large scale change plans to enhance capability during major organisational change. Proven project management experience.
