Admin & Stock Controller
Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Hours: Flexible working hours available to suit the candidate, plus early Friday finish
Location: Lambeg, Lisburn
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
We are looking for an Admin & Stock Controller to join our team. Ideally, you will have experience in the fire and security alarm systems trade, but strong stock control and administrative skills are key. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations by managing stock levels, purchasing, processing orders, and supporting both the sales and accounts teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
2. Purchase stock while maintaining cost efficiency.
3. Process and dispatch sales orders accurately and on time.
4. Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and operational requirements.
5. Manage deliveries and resolve stock discrepancies.
6. Maintain accurate records in the stock management system.
7. Provide data and support to sales and accounts teams for effective coordination.
8. Carry out general administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Qualifications
9. Proven experience in stock control (experience in fire and security alarm systems is an advantage).
10. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
11. Proficiency in stock management systems (e.g., Sage).
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to forecast and manage inventory effectively.
14. High attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
