Senior Finance Business Partner – North and Wales | Full-Time / Permanent
We’re looking for a senior commercial finance partner to lead operations, clients and leadership across world‑class sports and entertainment venues in the North of England and Wales. As Senior Finance Business Partner you’ll play a key role in driving profitable growth, strong financial control and successful mobilisation of new venue contracts through insight‑led decision making and disciplined governance.
Senior Finance Business Partner – The Role
* Drive commercial performance and data insights.
* Strengthen financial control and reporting.
* Lead the finance workstream for new contract mobilisation.
* Improve systems, processes and automation.
* Support delivery of Compass MAP (Management & Performance Reporting) plans.
What we’re looking for
* A personable self‑starter with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and operators alike.
* Completed qualifications – AAT, Finance Degree or QBE.
* Excellent Excel and analytical skills with experience using Power BI and SAP.
* The flexibility to travel and work across different locations as required – car allowance provided.
* Strong management accounting experience.
* Experience with financial systems / ERP implementations.
* Excellent commercial acumen.
* Proven ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong project management capability.
It’s a bonus if you have…
* Experience in hospitality, events, stadium or multi‑site environments.
* Previous mobilisation or project‑based finance experience.
* Knowledge of contract finance and commercial terms.
* Full UK driving licence.
