Housing Services within Stirling Council are currently looking to recruit Electricians to join our in-house trade team.
We provide Repairs and Maintenance services across our housing portfolio, undertake refurbishment works, property adaptations, and assist with the construction of new build housing for our tenants.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of electrical works, including Capital Investment projects such as kitchen/bathroom installations, rewiring, heating system installations, door entry, and fire alarm systems, as well as testing and inspection. There will also be a requirement to undertake general repairs and maintenance of existing installations within our properties.
The successful candidate must have a full driving license and be willing to participate in an out-of-hours standby/emergency service.
To meet our customer expectations, there may be an opportunity for candidates to participate in a four-day rolling shift pattern. The shift will involve an extended working day with enhanced hourly rates.
