Are you an experienced administrator with at least two years’ experience and knowledge of the Care Programme Approach (CPA) and national guidelines? If so, join Thornford Park as a CPA Coordinator, where you will ensure the department maintains high standards in administering and documenting the Care Programme Approach.
Role Responsibilities
1. Liaising with the Mental Health Act Admin department to prepare, plan, and coordinate CPA meetings for service users.
2. Setting meeting dates, preparing and sending invitations, booking rooms and hospitality.
3. Collating and typing necessary documents, preparing and distributing packs.
4. Greeting visitors, recording attendance, and gathering post-meeting documentation.
5. Ensuring reports are read and signed, updating CPA timetables, and filing records.
6. Liaising with external agencies regarding patient care.
7. Maintaining office procedures and filing systems.
Candidate Requirements
* 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including English.
* 2 years’ experience in administration/office systems.
* European Computer Driving Licence.
* Knowledge of CPA and national guidelines.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
Work Environment
You will work at Thornford Park, a 141-bed independent hospital supporting service users requiring medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services, including PICU services. The facility offers a seamless care pathway, supporting recovery and rehabilitation through multidisciplinary teamwork.
