Summary of the Purchasing & Office Administrator
Salary: £25,000 -£26,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent, 100% office based
Hours: 37.5 - hour working week, Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 16.30 Fri 08.00 - 13.30

Responsibilities of the Purchasing & Office Administrator
Cover all aspects of purchasing / pricing / quality issues
Order stock & services from suppliers
Liaising with customers & suppliers
Dealing with customer queries
Responding to emails
Answer the telephone in a professional manner
Acquire POD’s
Welcoming visitors
General office duties
Requirements for a successful Purchasing & Office Administrator
Previous administration and customer service experience ideally within a procurement department
Professional with strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Eagerness to learn, self-motivated & good time management skills
