We’re looking for a driven and dynamic Global EHS Manager to contribute to our continued success on a global scale.


The Role

As Global EHS Manager you have an essential role in developing a strong and proactive safety culture across Trifast PLC. The role is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programmes across all our global operations and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

This is a varied and dynamic role which will influence and drive strategic EHS initiatives, foster a culture of safety and environmental management, and promote practices that support performance improvement, all aligned with our corporate values and objectives.


Key Tasks

EHS compliance:

* Manage the company EHS framework compliance programme, supporting global locations with continuous improvement in line with agreed objective and targets
* Support EHS regulatory compliance across the four international regions. Research and support compliance improvements to support ongoing compliance best practice
* Lead the Group ISO14001 program and proactively update policies to maintain best practices and drive continuous improvement

Policy and Process Development:

* Lead the creation and continuous improvement of Global Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards
* Support the development of best practices and establish ‘OneTR’ working practices across the organisation
* Drive continual improvement in EHS standards and performance

Risk Management, Audit, and Inspections:

* Establish global processes for risk management, including risk assessment
* Oversee EHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
* Develop a global programme for safety inspection and statutory compliance

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

* Support the business in establishing strong standards of incident investigation
* Act a subject matter expert for incident investigation providing clear, timely analysis, and recommendations
* Own the incident, proactive observation data, and KPI management and analysis
* Contribute to the development of the monthly EHS Board report

Communication and Training:

* Develop an engaging communication strategy that is relevant to a global team
* Design and deliver training programs, toolbox talks, and culturally relevant communications that relate to teams cross all global locations

Behavioural safety:

* Support the creation of the organisation’s behavioural safety programme
* Champion behavioural safety across the organisation

Global Environmental and Sustainability Initiatives:

* Promoting environmental stewardship and sustainability as key business priorities
* Inspire global teams to embed strong environmental management and support sustainability initiatives


The Candidate

We are seeking a forward thinking individual with:

* 5+ years of EHS experience
* Knowledge of HSE legislation and standards
* Expertise with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
* Skilled in risk management, incident investigation, and safety system implementation
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to support global teams
* Knowledge of International safety legislation and standards
* Working across time zones around the world
* Experience with environmental sustainability initiatives
