About the Role
As an Accounts Officer, you will be the backbone of our branch's financial operations. You\'ll handle day-to-day transactions, manage tax compliance, and serve as the vital link between our branch and the Dhaka head office. This is a responsible position that offers real-world exposure to professional accounting in a healthcare environment.
Reports To: Branch Manager/Head Office.
Your Key Responsibilities
Daily Financial Operations
* You will record, process, and maintain all daily financial transactions with precision. From managing invoices and receipts to processing payments, every transaction will pass through your careful review. You\'ll prepare daily transaction reports, reconcile cash and bank accounts, and ensure all entries are accurately posted in the accounting system. Your accuracy and attention to detail will directly impact the organization\'s financial health.
Tax Expertise & Compliance
* Handle VAT and AIT calculations and deductions with confidence.
* Process all tax-related documentation, prepare compliance reports, and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
* You\'ll stay updated with tax regulations and ensure our branch maintains 100% compliance with government requirements.

Head Office Liaison & Coordination
* Be the communication bridge between our branch and Dhaka headquarters. Submit comprehensive financial reports, coordinate fund transfers, resolve inter-branch queries, and ensure consistent accounting practices across all locations. Your communication skills and reliability will strengthen our organizational network.
Core Accounting Functions
* Manage general ledgers, maintain subsidiary books, prepare bank reconciliations, and process payroll and expense reimbursements.
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Support internal and external audits, maintain proper documentation, and help manage inventory and asset records.
