We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in expanding our footprint across the Oil & Gas (upstream and downstream), Power and Petrochemical sectors in the North Sea.
What you’ll do
* Drive sales of NDT, inspection and rope access services, building strong client relationships at all levels.
* Develop and deliver an annual business plan focused on revenue growth and profit margin targets.
* Lead the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and qualifying leads through to tendering, negotiation and closing.
* Prepare and present proposals, ensuring a consultative approach to provide the right solutions for client needs.
* Work with global sales colleagues to share leads and collaborate on international projects.
* Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline and performance, reporting monthly to the senior leadership team.
* Represent the company with professionalism, ensuring compliance with contract law, HSEQ standards and industry best practice.
What we’re looking for
* Whilst we are ideally looking for 5+ years of experience in a business development role, we are always willing to consider great candidates whose experience might differ.
* Strong knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques and inspection services.
* Proven track record of winning and managing multimillion-pound contracts.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
* Commercially astute with strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
* A motivated, energetic approach that builds trust and inspires confidence with clients.
Desirable experience
* Exposure to renewables, aerospace, or tank inspection markets.
* Experience selling Vendor Surveillance services (VSS).
