Kent & Beyond Early Years Stronger Practice Hub (KBEYSPH) in association with Northfleet Nursery School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Communication and Language Learning Lead Professional.
Level 6 Qualification is essential.
As an Early Years Learning Lead, you will play a pivotal system leadership role—facilitating high-quality, DfE-approved professional development, providing specialist support to Early Years settings, and contributing to both regional and national professional networks.
Your expertise and passion will be instrumental in driving high-quality practice, consistency, and innovation across the sector.
As an EYLL you will champion language-rich environments, strengthening practitioner knowledge and promote high-quality interactions that support communication and language development for all children.
This is a 4 day working week (0.8 FTE), term-time only position (38 weeks per year) Working days are negotiable.
About the Role
Successful candidates will:
1. Facilitate and deliver DfE-approved CPD programs
2. Provide specialist subject support and guidance to Early Years practitioners and leaders
3. Model and promote evidence-informed practice
4. Engage in regional and national networks, contributing to sector-wide improvement
5. Support settings to implement and sustain high-quality provision
Contract and Remuneration
6. The roles is commissioned through the Stronger Practice Hub (SPH)
7. Day rate: £500 per day
8. Term-time only (38 weeks per year)
9. Contracts are funded through to March 2028 in the first instance, with the potential for extension subject to funding
Delivery Model
Roles can be undertaken in one of two ways:
10. As a self-employed contractor/consultant, paid directly
11. Through agreed release from your current setting, with funding provided to support backfill
