In the absence of the manager, ensuring that all monies are banked, daily/weekly banking & reporting processes are followed and shop is opened and closed at end of day. Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and commercial awareness. Able to demonstrate proven success in achieving sales targets, Do you have a hands-on approach and the ability to: Recruit and motivate a team of volunteers to maximise sales and generate income to support the work of EACH. Influence and increase sales and productivity. Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage, however this role would also suit a candidate with high street retail experience. Ensure that volunteers are well informed and motivated so that they can develop to their individual potential. Maintain a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shops. Manage and undertake the sorting, moving and storage of a high volume of donated goods. Ensure that all monies are banked, and financial returns completed on a weekly basis.
