Job Description
1.
Develop and execute the Quality Management System under the direction of management.
2.
Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and diagrams to determine quality standards.
3.
Conduct in-process inspections and select parts for testing based on sampling plans.
4.
Record, evaluate, and report test data, recommending modifications to improve quality.
5.
Maintain quality control areas, including inspection gage control and certification.
6.
Set up, program, and operate DCC CMM; perform first article inspections (FAI) and certify shipments.
7.
Act as liaison between QC and production to resolve non-conformances and enforce standards.
8.
Participate in process improvement meetings and MRB reviews, providing clear verbal and written reports.

The Successful Applicant

General working knowledge and experience with CNC lathe and mill operations.
10.
Understanding of CMM equipment and quality inspection tools/gages.
11.
Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and apply requirements to machining processes.
12.
Hands-on experience in an ISO or QMS environment; 1-3 years with CNC machining equipment.
13.
Strong communication skills, positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn quickly.
14.
AS degree in a technical field desirable but not required; ATF compliance experience is a plus.
