Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs (SEN)? We are currently recruiting for amitted Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded school in the Preston area, offering specialist support across both primary and secondary phases.The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with a range of general learning difficulties, including autism, speech and language needs, and cognitive delay. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop key life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
2. Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
3. Support pupils in developingmunication, social and academic skills
4. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
