Senior Project Manager (Bids)
Location: Basingstoke, Bracknell and other sites as needed; a flexible attitude to travel and working locations will be required.
Your role will involve:

As a Senior Project Manager – Bids, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex bids that safeguard national interests and enable growth. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of strategic bids, applying the same discipline, structure, and collaborative leadership expected of high-profile programmes.
Working at the heart of a skilled and dedicated bid community, you will manage and deliver proposals that inspire confidence, deliver value to customers, and demonstrate Fujitsu’s excellence in bid delivery.
Your role will involve leading the planning, end-to-end governance, and delivery of bids and proposals to time, cost, quality, and compliance standards - while embedding continuous improvement into how DNS shapes and executes its bid responses.
Skills:
1. Strong planning, governance, and project management capabilities, experience, and aspirations to pursue these within their role and career further.
2. Ability and happy to be a hands-on project manager.
3. Capability and desire to strength and establish project management, governance, and delivery requirements during bids / proposals.
4. Ability to communicate and advocate project and delivery requirements during bids / proposals and ensure an effective and successful transition from bids to delivery.
5. Some experience / exposure to supporting bids / proposals – or an aspiration to work in this space with transferrable project and delivery management skills/experience
6. Flexibility and comfortable to work on different bids at given points in time.
7. Agile experience
8. Highly Regulated and Sensitive Environment background experience – or a strong desire to work in this space with transferrable skills.
9. Holds high level of clearance (yellow) or willing to obtain higher clearance if required.
