Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience)
About the Role:
An innovative and supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to start in September. The successful candidate will teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and inspire students to develop a passion for science.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in one or more science disciplines
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Monitor and assess student progress, providing actionable feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and lab practice
Collaborate with the Science department on curriculum, enrichment, and extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for science education and student success
