Our client is one of the UK's largest, most progressive, and dynamic leisure operators. They are currently recruiting for a Membership Manager. Leading a busy team, you will take an active role in growing membership at their site in Alton, Hampshire.
What your role will be
Working at the facility, you will provide a line management role supporting the Membership Advisors to maximize every opportunity. You will set KPIs and targets, meet regularly with the team to monitor performance, and ensure support aligns with our spirit values.
You will manage the team with the philosophy that 'everyone’s a member.' Focus will be on converting users to members, developing high-level customer service, and ensuring excellence at all times. You will empower your team to become subject matter experts with extensive product knowledge of the facilities and customer needs. This includes maintaining up-to-date and compliant administration and systems.
Your background
The successful candidate will have experience in membership management, sales management, or consultancy. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with internal and external customers and staff. You should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and experience during the interview. Additionally, experience in motivating and driving a sales team to success is required.
