Position Description
ERT is seeking an experienced C-Suite Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-level strategic and administrative support to ERT’s top executives. Will act as a gatekeeper and business partner by managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, preparing confidential communications and presentations, overseeing projects, and serving as a liaison with board members and senior staff, all while maintaining discretion and operating proactively in a fast-paced environment.

1. Calendar & Schedule Management: Proactively manage complex, dynamic schedules, prioritize meetings, and resolve conflicts to optimize executive time.
2. Travel & Expenses: Arrange complex domestic/international travel, itineraries, and process associated expense reports.
3. Office Management: Oversee daily business operations of ERT’s Tysons office, ensuring a productive, organized, and compliant workplace. Key responsibilities include managing administrative procedures, controlling office budgets and inventory, and handling vendor relations.
4. Meeting & Event Support: Prepare agendas, presentations (PowerPoint), reports, and other meeting materials. Coordinate regular meetings including quarterly board meetings, monthly executive meetings, MBRs, program reviews, weekly leadership, etc. Capture action items for follow up.
5. Project Management: Support special projects, track deliverables, and manage workflows across the executive team.
6. Liaison & Representation: Serve as a link between the executive, board, staff, and external stakeholders, representing the executive and company professionally. Screen calls/emails, draft correspondence (internal/external), handle confidential information, and act as the primary point of contact. Support corporate communications in conjunction with HR and Marketing teams.
7. Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with sound judgment and utmost confidentiality. Supports Special Security Agreement (SSA) documentation in conjunction with FSO.

Required Skills

8. 5+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.
9. Ability to anticipate needs, offer solutions, and align efforts with business goals.
10. Superior time management, planning, and follow-through.
11. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; Ability to write and edit a variety of internal and external communications
12. Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Desired

14. Previous experience in a gov con environment a plus
15. Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus
16. Special Security Agreement (SSA) documentation support experience desired, but not required

Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent

Location
This position will be on site at ERT’s corporate office in Tysons Corner Monday – Thursday. Friday may be worked remotely or in office as desired.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $80,000 – 90,000/year. This range is a good faith estimate based on similar roles across the organization. ERT uses several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the position's scope and expected duties, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
