Here is your chance to make a difference! We are recruiting a Global Procurement Director for Professional Services to develop and execute category strategies that drive value, sustainability, innovation, and resilience across The LEGO Group’s professional services spend portfolio.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead and Develop a Global Team: Manage and inspire a team of professional services sourcing experts across multiple regions, building world-class capabilities in strategic procurement and stakeholder engagement.
2. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Define and implement long-term sourcing strategies for key professional services categories, aligning with business needs, market insights, and emerging trends.
3. Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders in HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to develop a comprehensive Professional Services roadmap supporting business transformation, efficiency, and agility.
4. Spend Optimization & Aggregation: Consolidate global spend across regions and units to leverage economies of scale, improve negotiation power, and achieve cost savings.
5. Supplier Management & Innovation: Develop and manage a global supplier base, lead negotiations, ensure contract excellence, and foster innovation and productivity improvements.
6. Risk Management & Resilience: Mitigate risks and build resilient supplier ecosystems to ensure business continuity.
7. Sustainability & ESG Leadership: Drive sustainability objectives through supplier partnerships and procurement practices aligned with LEGO’s environmental and social goals.
8. Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure procurement excellence, continuous improvement, and value delivery.
9. Global Execution Excellence: Ensure high-quality, consistent sourcing execution worldwide, balancing speed, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
In this role, you will lead a team of 8 direct reports, collaborating with senior leaders to develop a strategic roadmap that enables long-term success. We seek a visionary procurement leader with proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and global supplier development.
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, HR, Finance, or related field
* Minimum 10 years of global people management and leadership experience
* At least 10 years of procurement experience in a multinational company
* Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing transformation and deliver business value
* 10+ years of professional services sourcing experience
* Transformation experience
* Strong cross-functional and matrixed work capabilities
* Advanced English skills (verbal and written)
