Job Details
HR Systems Administrator
Duration: Fixed-Term contract until February 2027
Location: Derbyshire/Hybrid – 3 days in the office
Hours: Full-time (37 hours, Monday – Friday)
Responsibilities:
* Configure, test, and maintain HR systems, including user setup and documentation
* Oversee system updates and enhancements to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and effective governance
* Administer security settings and access controls, including self-service features
* Validate data quality across workflows, reports, and integrations
* Generate and present reports to support workforce planning and decision-making
* Troubleshoot issues and liaise with vendors to minimise disruption
* Deliver training and create user guides to support system users
* Support HR operations such as pay awards, contractual changes, and leave management
* Drive continuous improvement through system optimization and automation
* Provide statistical analysis to inform organisational planning and performance
* Act as a subject matter expert on HR systems, offering guidance and impact analysis
Requirements:
* Understanding of HR management information systems and data structures
* Hands-on experience in system administration, configuration, and user management
* Demonstrated ability to test and validate systems and databases effectively
* Proficient in developing user guides and delivering system training sessions
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
This role is INSIDE IR35.
