Theatre Nurses, Ward Nurses, Day Nurses and Scrub Nurses
Good theatre / recovery experience is required for this leading private hospital and Treatment Centres. This is an exciting time to join an expanding organisation, to develop and progress over time.
Working in the theatre / recovery environment you will promote a sensitive and caring approach for patients during all aspects of their treatment.
The post holder will also be responsible for:
1. Providing scrub assistance in clinical/operative procedures
2. Using clinical judgement and analytical skills to pro-actively identify potential problems during surgery that require Consultant / Surgeon input.
3. Providing pre and post-operative instructions to patients and carers through effective communication as part of the clinical competency framework and holistic care of patients.
4. Working closely and effectively with the Patient Services Team to ensure patients, carers and visitors receive a high quality of care, expert advice and guidance throughout their experience.
5. Ensuring maximum efficiency, utilisation and seamless delivery of support to Consultants and Surgeons.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Right to work in the UK
2. Current NMC or HCPC registration as a Nurse or ODP
3. Full checkable 5 year reference history
4. Scrub theatre experience, including pre and post-operative theatre experience
