Job description:
ESW work with Local Authorities under government funding, commercial clients and able to pay customers to deliver energy efficient insulation, clean heating systems and power generation (solar PV), providing a high level of delivery, management and customer experience.
With the growth of our company seeing larger contracts, and working with an increasing number of clients, we are looking for someone to help us deliver these projects with care and attention to detail. They will work closely with the rest of the team, to ensure duties are carried out in good time and to enable management to carry out their duties more efficiently.
This role requires someone who has a technical mind and is keen to learn about what they are working within, rather than just understanding the requirements of the tasks. Someone who asks questions and is able to investigate and analyse required knowledge, aside from the direction given. You would need to be adaptable, ensuring changes to compliance and regulations are self taught, making sure you are delivering the correct information as changes happen. You must be able to meet large levels of complex information, and to work with high work loads, making sure that correct prioritisation is given to your tasks.
This role is 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes break. Overtime is always available if desired. £14 - £16 per hour to be considered.
The final hourly rate will reflect current experience and transferable skills, with a probation period of 3 months, where the rate will be reconsidered based on performance.
Paid holiday will consist of 8 bank holidays and 20 additional days.

Duties
● Managing installation team diaries. Evaluating travel requirements, location and time scales of works and surveys
● Coordinating and instructing partner installation companies and subcontractors. Liaising with many different trades and clients in a supportive manner
● Creating and producing designs and documents in relation to compliance requirements and technical specifications
● Assessing surveys, assessment documents and proof of works to evaluate what is required, considerations, risks and regulation standards
● Actioning structural surveys, third party designs and alternative on site appointments
● Reporting to project managers, providing the status of installs and any complications that arise
● Using multiple software platforms to track and monitor project progress, and to provide updates to clients and partner installers
● Quoting. Collating all third party costs and considering all internal works to create client quotes, including adjustments where required
● Assessing technical surveys for domestic solar PV systems and using that information to create compliant designs using dedicated software. Using this to put together a bill of materials and system quotes, whilst considering user requirements
● Quality control of post installation evidence. Assessing amount and types of images, processes and handover is carried out in a thorough and clean manner
● Raising procedure issues and proposing alternative solutions and corrective actions
Key Skills
● Keen to learn large amounts of complex information, whether directed, or taking the initiative to learn and understand new skills and procedures
● You must be able to work in a considerate and collaborative manner, recognizing the importance of all parts of the projects, including the impacts on the duties of others
● Time and work load management. To be able to track and prioritise a large number of tasks that can regularly require adjustment
● Good customer service skills, ensuring a balance between a supportive experience for residents and the needs of the tasks required
● Attention to detail and a drive to provide a high standard of service
● Analytical thinking. The ability to recognise possible risks and to think creatively about alternative solutions
● An ability to work with and understand financial figures. Keeping a track of expenses within projects and evaluating works to maximise cost efficiency, whilst delivering good quality
● Must be very good with software and technology, including the wish to learn and take on new operating systems
● A high level of administrative skill. Producing documents and records that are clear and thorough, with care and attention to detail
● The ability to adjust and alter your workload to accommodate unexpected changes
● An excellent level of communication skills. To clearly communicate with managers, in house teams, subcontractors and residents, ensuring that your information is thorough and resolution focused
● Accountability. To meet mistakes and outcomes with transparency and a keen focus to understand and learn for beneficial and progressive outcomes
● A caring and supportive manner. Many residents may need extra considerations due to disability or personal situations. There must be a wish to carry out these works within their homes with compassion and understanding.
● Conflict resolution. At times, some residents are resistant to certain aspects of works, changes and can require a careful yet confident tone to resolve their concerns
