The Role
This is a hands-on role working closely with a Project Manager, Site Supervisors, and the project team to plan, coordinate, and deliver FRP works from start to finish.
You’ll take ownership of formwork sequencing, reinforcement installation, concrete pours, and temporary works, ensuring safety, quality, and program requirements are met, while also managing the commercial and administrative aspects that keep the job running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
Interpret and review engineering plans and specifications
Review, interpret Temporary works designs
Plan and coordinate formwork installation, reinforcement placement, and concrete pours in line with project sequencing
Work alongside Site Supervisors to oversee daily site activities and subcontractor performance
Conduct FRP quality inspections, complete ITPs, and ensure defects are closed out promptly
Manage procurement, prepare scopes of work, and coordinate suppliers and deliveries
Prepare and submit RFIs, variations, EOTs, and payment claims
Track budgets, forecast costs, and support cash flow planning
Maintain accurate project records including site diaries, timesheets, and progress reports
Attend and contribute to internal and client progress meetings, reporting on milestones and challenges
Liaise with in-house and external drafting teams to review and transmit shop drawings
Ensure all FRP designs and temporary works comply with engineering requirements and WHS standards
Proactively identify buildability issues and develop practical solutions with the project team
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
3+ years’ experience in civil infrastructure with a strong focus on FRP delivery
Solid understanding of formwork systems, reinforcement detailing, sequencing, and temporary works
Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and project documentation on active sites
White Card and Driver’s License (RIW Card advantageous)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Optimistic and proactive approach
Able to work in fast-paced site environments while maintaining quality and safety standards
