We are seeking a commercially astute lawyer for a 3-month contract to support our client on a range of technology and telecom-related matters. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, particularly in the telecom infrastructure and software sectors.
* Advise on the full product lifecycle of SaaS offerings—preferably communication software—including development, licensing, deployment, and customer agreements.
* Provide legal and regulatory guidance on issues related to telecommunications infrastructure.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, sales, and procurement.
* Identify and mitigate legal risks while supporting business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent).
* Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial legal roles, ideally with a strong focus on telecoms infrastructure and/or SaaS products.
* Experience working across the end-to-end lifecycle of software-as-a-service platforms.
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver practical solutions at pace.
* Previous in-house or secondment experience in the tech/telecoms sector is a strong plus.
