Field Service / Resident Engineer – Linde Material Handling
Exciting career opportunities across the Coventry and Leicester areas. Your role is both hands‑on and problem‑solving‑oriented, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency. You will also maintain and perform preventative maintenance and essential check‑ups on our fleet. You will service Linde forklifts and other state‑of‑the‑art material handling equipment, forging strong relationships, and delivering exceptional support. This role requires a candidate who has experience as a technician or mechanical engineer in industries such as forklift/material handling, automotive, recovery services, rail, plant, powered access, agriculture, fisheries, manufacturing, refrigeration, etc.
Qualifications
* Ideally NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), although not essential.
* Experience as a technician or mechanical engineer in relevant industries.
* Comfortable using IT equipment for accurate record‑keeping and ordering.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong communication skills with customers.
