We are looking for an Imaging Healthcare Assistant that will provide crucial support in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, assisting radiographers and radiologists with patient care, imaging procedures, and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for scans (X-ray, CT,, ultrasound, IR), positioning them correctly for imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort, processing images, and managing patient data. The role requires strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Reassuring and preparing patients for procedures, ensuring they are positioned correctly, and providing appropriate care and support throughout the imaging process. Imaging Support: Assisting radiographers with tasks during X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, and sometimes chaperoning patients during procedures.
