HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Coventry £18.50 – £37.00ph| Weekly Pay | Block Bookings | Paid Breaks Coventry StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking and multi-drop work based in Coventry. We’re looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and opportunities for block bookings and full-time positions. Pay Rates (PAYE) • Monday–Friday PM : £18.50ph plus holiday pay, or £20.73ph including holiday pay • Overtime (after 9 hours) PM : £23.22ph • Weekends work is paid at double time! What the role involves You’ll be completing curtain-side deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift, with forklift-assisted unloading. Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay, including paid breaks. You’ll be working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available. A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.
