Job Description Family Solicitor Location : Chester (hybrid working) Salary : £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience) Experience : 2 years’ PQE in Private Family Law This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor to join our client’s well-established Family Law team, supporting clients through some of life’s most challenging moments with empathy, clarity and strong technical advice. The role is based in Chester, with hybrid working supported. You will manage a varied private family caseload and work closely with colleagues across the wider team. There is genuine scope to build your profile locally, contribute to the growth of the Chester presence, and develop your career in a supportive, collaborative environment. What You’ll Be Doing Managing a varied caseload of private family matters, including: Divorce and separation Financial remedy work Private children matters Cohabitation disputes Providing high-quality advice and representation with professionalism and empathy Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering excellent client care throughout Contributing to business development and networking activity to support growth in Chester Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Family Law team to share knowledge and support best practice What We’re Looking For Essential Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales) Solid experience handling private family law matters Strong technical knowledge and confident drafting capability Excellent communication and client-handling skills, with a calm and empathetic approach Organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines Collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues across the team Desirable Local network in or around Chester, or enthusiasm to build one Interest in business development and building longer-term client relationships Why Join Our client places real emphasis on training and development, with opportunities to build technical expertise, progress your career and develop new skills.
