Casual Duty Manager (Sports Centres)
Pay: £14.28 per hour (plus 12.07% holiday relief pay allowance)

 * Hampton Sports & Fitness Centre, Hampton High, Hanworth Road, Hampton TW12 3HB
 * Active Hampton, 32 Tangley Park Road, Hampton, TW12 3YH
 * Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, Park Avenue, East Sheen SW14 8AT
Facilities across these centres include multi‑purpose sports halls, tennis courts, all‑weather pitches, studio spaces, gyms, multi‑use games areas, beach volleyball courts and squash courts. Centres are open to the public 7 days a week (hours vary per centre).
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of the management team overseeing day‑to‑day operation of the centre, ensuring it runs smoothly. Responsibilities include maintaining clean, safe and staffed facilities so that every customer has a great experience when they visit or contact us.
Duty Managers support front‑of‑house reception work, supervise activities, organise and coordinate sports activity programmes, and handle Health & Safety duties. Refer to the attached Job Profile for full details of the varied role you can expect.
What We’ll Need From You
 * UK recognised sports/recreation/fitness or relevant management qualification (first aid qualification and relevant experience desirable)
 * Good communication and organisational skills
 * Knowledge of Health & Safety issues
 * Understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in employment and service provision

Causal shifts may involve working daytime or evenings, both during the week and at weekends. Shifts are offered by mutual agreement to accommodate other commitments.
